Volunteerism

Our Commitment to Volunteerism
We take great pride in contributing to our communities and dedicating our time to volunteerism. MillerCoors and its employees have a long tradition of supporting the communities where we live and work. Over the past several years, employee volunteers have collectively posted more than 60,000 hours per year.
We dedicate our time and resources to important causes, such as protecting our environment through beach restoration and watershed improvement projects, and providing food baskets to needy families through the Sam Sandos Christmas Basket and Cena en el Barrio programs.
In September 2009, we celebrated the first annual MillerCoors Water Stewardship Month by creating partnerships in brewery communities with local and/or national non-profit water stewardship organizations. Employees and their families volunteered more than 1,600 hours on water projects in their communities – cleaning and restoring streambeds, planting trees along watersheds and monitoring water quality.
And each year, we celebrate Friends of the Forest Day along the Clear Creek Watershed in Colorado. For these efforts, MillerCoors received the American Fisheries Society 2009 Western Division Riparian Challenge award.
