Employee Volunteerism

Our Commitment to Volunteerism
We take great pride in contributing to our communities and dedicating our time through volunteerism. MillerCoors and its employees have a long tradition of supporting the communities where we live and work. In the past two years, MillerCoors employees have donated more than 50,000 hours volunteering in their communities.
We dedicate our time and resources to important causes, such as protecting our environment through beach restoration and watershed improvement projects, and providing food baskets to needy families through the Sam Sandos Christmas Basket and Cena en el Barrio programs.
One of our key programs is MillerCoors Great Water Month. We've created partnerships in brewery communities with local and/or national non-profit water stewardship organizations. In 2010, employees and their families volunteered nearly 1,800 hours to plant native vegetation, conduct water quality testing, build fencing to help restore watersheds and clean riverbanks.
And each year, we celebrate Friends of the Forest Day along the Clear Creek Watershed in Colorado. For these efforts, MillerCoors received the American Fisheries Society 2009 Western Division Riparian Challenge award.
