More than a drop in the bucket

Water is necessary to brew our great beer.  It's also an essential ingredient to life.  That’s why our commitment to this precious resource can be seen throughout every aspect of our business.  And no one understands this better than our people.

We recently dedicated the month of September as MillerCoors Water Stewardship Month.  In 2009, MillerCoors employees and their families volunteered more than 1,600 hours on water projects in their communities, from Georgia to California and Ohio to Colorado. 

They haven’t stopped there.  Take Jim Surfus, a package equipment engineer in our Milwaukee corporate offices.  Jim has spent his personal time over the past few decades working on humanitarian projects that help provide safe and reliable drinking water around the world. 

Inside and outside our MillerCoors communities, our employees are on a quest towards protecting and conserving our world’s water supply.  Isn’t it refreshing to be responsible?
