At MillerCoors, our marketing must meet strict standards that go above and beyond simple legal compliance — and it all starts with an extensive, formal advertising review process.

Every TV commercial, radio, print ad, web site and marketing promotion goes through a rigorous review by internal Sales & Marketing Compliance Committee to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as the MillerCoors Marketing Compliance Code and the Beer Institute Marketing and Advertising Code.
Some of the additional processes we use to ensure best-in-class marketing self-regulation include:

- Conducting marketing placement advertising audits and making necessary adjustments to our media placements.
- Training marketing and sales employees , outside agencies and vendors about our marketing compliance program and educating them on how to promote our products in the most appropriate and responsible ways.
- Thoroughly reviewing any concerns about our advertising and marketing practices by participating in the Beer Institute's Code Compliance Review Board's (CCRB) complaint review process.
- Requiring that a responsibility message be placed on all TV, radio, and print advertising and all point-of-sale items.
