Responsible Fans

We're big fans of responsible fans. Whether you're attending a baseball, football, basketball, hockey or other game, MillerCoors wants to make sure you have a winning game plan that includes getting home responsibly. Check out these tips:
- Keep the focus on the event, not the drinking. If you decide to drink alcohol, stay in control and drink responsibly.
- Avoid drinking too much alcohol too fast. Pace yourself — eat enough food, take breaks and alternate with non-alcoholic drinks.
- Don't participate in drinking games. Be a role model by not binge drinking and never giving alcohol to anyone under 21.
- Be a designated driver or designate your driver before the event begins. Make sure your friends or guests designate their sober drivers, or help arrange ride-sharing with other sober drivers.
- Give your designated driver your car keys and your appreciation for making sure you get home safely. Offer to be the designated driver the next time you go out.
- Find unique ways to recognize and appreciate the designated drivers - cover the cost for parking, pay for a tank of gas or pick up the tab for their food and drink.
- Make sure you have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks and food for your designated driver, and for you — to alternate, take breaks, and stay in control.
- Whatever non-alcohol beverage your designated drivers are drinking, make sure their glass is always full. Make sure they are well taken care of.
- If you find yourself in need of a ride, remember that 1-800-Taxi-Cab is just a phone call away.
- Never let a friend leave your sight if you think they are about to drive drunk.
- Always buckle up — every trip, every time — it's your best defense against drunk drivers.
